　 CHINA INDUSTRY & MARINE HARDWARE CO., LTD. (CIM), a privately owned company, was founded in 1986 by it’s German owner Mr. Hans Boie, who has been a resident of Qingdao for 22 years. As a Managing-Director with his German background, he strictly follows the European production-standards for all CIM-products.

CIM’s structure
- CIM’s head office is in Qingdao/China , which includes administration, sales, and bookkeeping.
- CIM’s 2 branch-offices are located in Ningbo/China and Hamburg/Germany.
- CIM’s ISO 9001 approved factory is located in Cheng Yang, the suburb of Qingdao/China.
- CIM’s ISO 9001 approved joint-venture-factory is located in Zhengzhou/China.
- Both factories are equipped with advanced modern technology, which lets CIM become a worldwide well known manufacturer for industry-and marine hardware.

CIM’s safety features
- Computer controlled Breaking-Load-Test machine, with printer for certification, for tests of materials and products up to the limit.
- Computer controlled Working-Load-Test machine, for permanent 100% quality control for sensitive products like ladders, steps, hooks, shackles etc.
- Impact-Tester, for testing hardness of different materials.
- Radiation-Detector acc. US-Standard FCC-15,for permanent control of all materials on radioactivity.
- Moly-Tester, for testing the component of Mo in Stainless Steel AISI316 and AISI316L..
- Handheld Omega X-Ray-Fluorescence-Spectrometer. This analyzer replaces a complete Lab, and provides accurate analysis in 4 seconds of all chemical components in all metals.
- Portable roller swager from Wireeknik/Sweden, for routine test of the strength of our swage-terminal products.
- Monthly routine training of ISO requirements.
